Richard comments, “Before Bioaktiv was utilized by Kerwee , their waste product was the best that we processed. Low stocking rates and good diet meant that the waste would be delivered with less odor and in a more powdery form than from other centres where we work. At other feedlots the waste tends to be received in a hard slab type form with considerable odor.” Richard continues "We have noticed that since the introduction of BioAktiv the waste is delivered in an even better form and with a reduction in odor. Interestingly, it now takes around 2 weeks less time to fully compost, a time savings of about 15%."
